Who’s putting on this event?

This event is under the official Loca for Local® brand created by Elena Flores / Sew Bonita who has curated and hosted some of Corpus Christi’s favorite pop-up markets since 2018. Sew Bonita now has its very own brick-and-mortar located at Meadowbrook Shopping Center.

How do I participating as a business?

Due to logistical reasons, we’ve limited this first official Local Loteria event to 30 local small businesses or less, but we’d love to expand with more for future events. If you’re a local business owner with a product (Shop, restaurant, boutique, food truck, etc) and would like to be considered for future events, please message us here. A requirement for participating is the ability to provide customers with 10% off as well as one (1) donated item for the prize giveaway.

What happens if I lose my playing card/board?

Unfortunately, we can’t replace lost cards/boards.

I missed the deadline to turn in my playing card/board. What now?

Sorry, all cards are due on or before the end of the Month. The game lasts an entire month and you have the whole month to turn in your card. No exceptions.

Will there be more Local Loteria events?

That’s the plan! We’d love to grow this event to at least two times per year (Spring and Summer).
